Mercy Ministries

As disciples of Jesus Christ, our mission is to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of First St Cloud is part of our vision to Serve the World. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation. First St Cloud members are involved in a variety of ministries from things as simple as greeting on Sunday mornings, to preparing the weekly audio-visual presentation for worship, and serving our community’s needs.

Music Ministries

God-honoring worship is something we strive for. Many church members get involved in our music ministry. Some play their instruments. Some are vocalists. Others are involved in the choir or praise team. These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of First St Cloud, using their talents and gifts to glorify God. You can get involved in any of our music ministries.

Hospitality Ministries

At First St Cloud we understand that it is difficult to break into a community when everyone is comfortable with their own routines, expectations and their own friends. Being a newcomer is like going to someone else’s family reunion. Everybody knows each other, has histories and experiences in common, but you don’t know quite what it is or if you are intruding on sacred turf. The purpose of the hospitality ministries is to include everyone into the family, by opening our doors and our hearts and giving them a place in our shared story and ministry. Do you have the spiritual gift of hospitality?

Media & Technology

Using media to share the love of God is a privilege of First St Cloud. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. Our Sunday worship services include Media projections for better accessibility. In addition, all of our weekly sermons are uploaded to our website in video and audio formats. We also maintain an active Facebook page for additional church communications. If you would like to be a part of this exciting ministry, contact us at

Power Hour Prayer

Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. First St Cloud is a body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to God’s sovereignty. Every Monday morning at 9:00 am, our team of prayer warriors gathers in the church library to pray for their pastor, a list of church members, any special requests, and missionary prayer needs. If you have a prayer need, feel free to send us a note through our

Small Groups

Often, small groups of people are better able to interact and learn about a topic than larger groups are. For that reason, First St Cloud has small bible studies held in member homes. The size of the group is anywhere from six to twelve. At a time, designated by your group, you can participate in the small group study.

Youth Ministry

Our youth program is geared to youth from middle and high school, and even some college level adults. Our weekly youth group meets for Bible study, outreach, worship, and fun Sundays from 9:45-10:30 am. Sometimes we do special events like pizza parties, pool parties, and shaving cream costume contests. Sometimes, we just sit back and sing worship songs together. There’s always a bible lesson taught by our Youth Pastors. Contact our student ministries pastor at youth.pastor@firstchurchstcloud.org.

Scouting Groups

Our church sponsors four scouting groups: Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, and the Venture Crew, which meet in the Family Life Center throughout the week. For more detailed information, please follow this link.
